As it Fades (2018)

Featured in the end of semester production during my graduation year at the academy, As it Fades examines the concept of memories and the impact of past experiences in shaping the human condition towards the future.

Ladies of the Red Chamber 十二金釵 (2016)

Containing all of a solo, duet and trio, this piece was derived from the legendary Chinese literature and adapted to a modern taste.

The Bigger Picture (2018)

Presented at the Spring Performances at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), this work features a live string quartet alongside the contemporary dance faculty.

Cat Dérive (2017)

Indicative of my sojourns across Hong Kong's landscape, this solo entails the city's idiosyncratic social and cultural bearings rendered by its populace. The challenge therefore, was not to isolate myself but to emerge from within the crowd as an individual of a collective spirit.

Beyond Restraint (2016)

A major showpiece for the Fall productions, the work plays with the notion of gravity and its inexorable influence on people, their emotions and ultimately, psychological conditions. Notable contributions consists of a short trio at the start and a solo monologue at the end.

SuperDancers Semi Finals (2014)

Danced to the tracks of Tyga (Hijack) and Beyonce (Fever), this routine showcases the swift transition from hard-hitting gangster rap to an icy cool jazz. And yes, we made it to the finals!

Dare 2 Move Auditions (2014)

Fresh from expanding the crew to four with new member Alif Aizad, MCC competed again at the annual Dare 2 Move contest which features all of the nation's best dance crews.

HELP Psych Annual Ball (2012)

The piece narrates the story about a toy soldier and a doll princess, who both share a special relationship for each other. Where the soldier sees the princess as the most special thing in his world, he can only admire and love her from afar. Somethings in life you'll see as the most beautiful and significant, but somehow these are the things you can only admire from far.

Red (2013)

After emerging as the Solo's champion at the District level in Kuala Lumpur, he went on to compete against the nation's best at the Grand Finals in Penang, Malaysia.

Competing at the nationwide showpiece contest as a solo contestant, the piece depicts the hellish nature of the human psyche when descending to a figurative inferno abyss.

SuperDancers Solo Audition (2013)

This piece is about the sole purpose of a lullaby, which one sings to another before the lights go out. A beautiful lullaby is the perfect end to a day; and this piece is to represent how one simple lullaby can soften the blow of even the most torrid of days.
