The inaugural International Symposium for Practice-as-Research (2017) held at the HKAPA brought together arts practitioners, thinkers, researchers and leaders in the field to explore ways that Practice-as-Research can contribute to enhancing performance and educational outcomes.
Education
A year before heading to Hong Kong, Jason was a dance instructor at local dance studio, DancePot. Teaching classes in Modern Jazz and Urban Choreography, this was his first venture into formal dance education. He was able to deepen his practice further through other concurrent engagements such as teaching corporate employees, church youths, and even circus-oriented performers.
